Now, this was a FUN job!
This fledgling start-up was originally titled Pineapple Princess when we first began the logo creation in 2004. The little girls line consisted of a collection of vintage inspired tropical themed beachwear. I created the original logo and branding which was very well received. During the first year while registering the trademark, the company founder discovered that their was another similar business in Los Angeles with the same name. The new beachwear creator decided to alter the business name to avoid and problems or confusion. After we worked through several name options, we settled on Paradise Princess. We created a second logo. The popular pineapple art continued to remain a part of the company design, but more flowers were added to give the paradise feel that you see in the catalog cover logo version. In third season, additional leaves were also added, as displayed in the business card logo version.
We created all the start-up print materials: color catalog, clothing tags, business cards, letterhead and order forms. A very simple website was also created and online for a short time, but the owner prefers to do business the old fashioned way, taking orders via fax, for now. Yes, there are a few non-geeks still out there.
